About this tea

Keemun Red tea is an uplifting black tea that reminds us of summer sun. This tea is a great choice if you're looking for a pick-me-up.

Our Keemun Red Tea is crafted from tender buds and two leaves of Camellia Sinensis, grown at an altitude of 600m in Yellow Mountain, Anhui, China. When processed, the leaves take on red, brown, and golden hues. When steeped, this tea releases a beautiful, red-gold liquor.

The brew has a bright aroma reminiscent of baked rhubarb. We taste osmanthus accompanied by a subtle fruitiness. The tea begins bright on the palate, then becomes more smooth and fruity before developing into a lingering, floral finish.

Pair Keemun Red Tea with creamy, custardy desserts or nutty cheeses. We like it as a bright addition to breakfast foods like buttered bread or porridge.

We also recommend trying Keemun Red Tea as a cold brew. You can drink this on its own, or use it as a base for fruity iced teas and sweet “sun teas.”

This selection was produced without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers and harvested in March 2024.
