About this tea

Misty Peak green tea is harvested from ancient tea trees and offers one of our most unique and complex flavor profiles. This tea is an excellent option for drinkers seeking a refined, aromatic green tea.

Misty Peak is green tea of the Mao Feng cultivar grown at 600m altitude in one of China’s oldest known growing regions: Yellow Mountain, Anhui. The dry leaves have a handsome, silvery-green color with a light downy fuzz, which gives them a misty appearance. The leaves brew into a pale green-yellow tea.

Misty Peak has a complex flavor profile. We taste fresh hay, boiled chestnuts, light woodiness, and a hint of mango. This tea is well-suited to being enjoyed on its own, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in its intricate flavor profile. This tea merits multiple infusions, as it reveals new layers of flavor with each steep.

This selection was produced without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers and harvested in March 2024.
